Come and experience the joy of Gan Gani first hand.
The day is a great opportunity for families and friends from near and far, to visit and explore Gan Gani's outdoor sanctuary!
Gan Gani Community Kindergarten provides hands-on and engaging activities and an educational curriculum focused on play-based learning.
From weekly Shabbat celebrations and making challah using fresh eggs from our chickens to our cultural celebrations, there is so much to learn and explore.
Our Parent Committee runs a number of extra-curricular events and activities on a regular basis. Throughout the year we also have a range of meaningful incursions and excursions.

On 4 August 2019, Gan Gani Community Kindergarten celebrated its 30th year of operation.
Over 200 attendees, representing different eras of our history, gathered for this special party to celebrate, reconnect and reminisce. It was great to see founding members, community groups, past and present families and staff and members of the community come together.
The milestone was marked with a gift to the kindy from the Queensland Jewish Kindergarten Association: a ‘Buddy Bench’ to represent a place of refuge or quiet in the outside environment for children to sit.
Children were entertained with face painting, jumping castle and The Fabulous Lemon Drops, while enjoying the fantastic open spaces of Gan Gani’s natural open setting. Special guests addressing the opening ceremony of the afternoon’s events included Mr David Paratz, founding member; Ms Claire Goldstein, Director/Teacher for the first 22 years; and Councillor James Mackay, Walter Taylor Ward.
Gan Gani is a community kindergarten focused on early childhood education. We’re a not-for-profit organisation that uses play-based emergent curriculums and focuses on providing a hands-on learning environment.
Our multicultural curriculum incorporates a unique focus on Judaism, honouring our founding communities and Jewish families, but is also welcoming to all cultures, traditions and backgrounds. We actively encourage strong parental involvement at all levels of our operation.
Our large and spacious outdoor areas, well equipped facilities, and single unit premises offer a quiet sanctuary to our children to allow an uncompromised focus on their development, education and wellbeing.
